Student Sports Activity

Thinking of this passion and craze for cricket, The Ashmark Institute of Australia, organized its first ever Ashmark Student’s league. Eight teams from the different classes were combined together to battle for the glory and recognition at the beautiful Fawkner park grounds in the heart of the city of Melbourne.
This four day cricket mania brought some action and heat in the ground and undoubtedly, provided students a break from the studies they were looking for. This twenty-twenty series was a knock out and teams were eliminated as they lost the game.
Without the enthusiastic efforts from Mr. Rajat Saraswat, this event would have been impossible and unrewarding. Not only did he provide students with the chance to explore a talent they were hiding but also gave them encouragement by being a spectator during the matches and watched closely for the nomination for important awards man of the series, man of the match, best bowler, best batsman.
Kings eleven chased the target of 125 runs with 3 wickets remaining and had put their names down as winners of the cup & glory.
For the superb batting performance, scoring 43 runs in the finals and great effort in the fielding Zohaib from the Eleven Monsters was declared man of the series and his team mate Amandeep Middha was declared best bowler for the series because of his hatrick and total of 13 wickets in the series.
CEO, Mr. Diwakar Saraswat awarded the winners with the certificates and trophies. The occasion was marked by the presence of the senior management from, The Ashmark Institute of Australia.
