Why Ashmark?

Government Funding

The Ashmark Institute of Australia is a Registered Training Organisation offering Government Funded Training under the Skills for Victoria Program which is a Victorian Government initiative to improve and refocus the training system to make it easier for you to upgrade your existing skills or help you gain the qualification needed to enhance your professional career.

Government Funded places are now available for domestic applicants. Students will be assessed against Skills Victoria eligibility criteria for acceptance into a Government Funded Place. For more information on Eligibility Criteria please refer to the FAQ section on the website and CLICK HERE to view Eligibility Rules - Skills Victoria Funding.

E-Learning

Ashmark Online offers fully accredited courses through a Moodle based learning management system which promotes social constructivist pedagogy (collaboration, activities, critical reflection, etc)

The e-learning course is delivered, by means of technology at a place and time that is convenient to the student, usually at home or at work, rather than in a campus classroom. E-learning classes are particularly attractive to working adults with job and family responsibilities who find it difficult to attend campus classes.  They present a body of knowledge through extensive reading assignments coordinated with additional content delivered through any of a variety of communications technologies.

The Ashmark Institute itself together with ALL its courses are nationally accredited through the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). This has many benefits to students including:

Nationally Recognised Training provides a standard against which courses and colleges can be assessed

It assures the student that the course is of an appropriate standard

  • It assures the student that the educational `techniques and principles of the college are sound.
  • It promotes the recognition of courses between institutions & in the case of private education providers, ensures that they meet government guidelines for courses.
  • As accreditation is an ongoing activity it assures the student that the high standards of the accredited college will be maintained
